Your data stays on your device

GPAForge has no accounts and no backend database. The courses, grades, and credits you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage so they're there the next time you visit. They are never sent to our servers. You can remove them at any time with the Reset button on the GPA calculator or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Information we collect

We do not ask for your name or email address. If you contact us by email, we use your message and address only to reply.

Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies of our own. If we add an analytics service, we will update this policy first.

Advertising

GPAForge may display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services here.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. Without consent, you will only see non-personalized ads. Residents of some US states may be offered additional privacy choices through the same message.

Cookies and local storage

Local storage is used to remember what you entered in the calculators. Advertising partners may set cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

GPAForge is intended for high school and college students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to official school and government pages as sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. Because we do not keep personal data in a database, there is little to access or delete, but you can contact us with any request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
